- Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
- Swimming is allowed in designated swimming area only.
- Only manually operated boats on the lake.
- Sport fishing only; no nets, trot lines, or jug fishing.
- Fishing on lake will be in accordance with applicable IL state regulations. Bass under 14” may not be taken from lake
waters.
- Speed limit within Crazy Horse property is 5 mph. Anyone violating this may be asked to leave.
- All refuse must be placed in the dumpster next to the lodge or designated trash receptacles. Please only refuse
generated by the camping experience. No appliances or other large items.
- Campers are welcome to bring pets, but pets must be kept under control by owners at all times and on a leash when
outdoors. Owners are required to clean up after pets, and pets that cause undue noise or frighten guests will not be allowed to stay in the park.
- Parents and grandparents are responsible for the actions of their children.
- Minibikes, mopeds, motorbikes, golf carts, and other similar vehicles may not be ridden within the campground for
recreational purposes. They may be used for transportation on park roads and must comply with speed limits. Proof of insurance must be provided to campground management and all vehicles driven at night must have functional lights.
- Washing of vehicles or trailers is not permitted.
- Use of water is not permitted to water grass, trees, or other non-domestic use.
- Visitors are welcome, but must register and pay visitor fee at lodge office upon entering the campground.
- No firearms, B-B guns or air guns may be discharged on campground property.
- There is no dumping of gray water or wastewater on the ground.
- Alteration of sites is not permitted without the approval of Crazy Horse management.
- Electrical cords may not be buried.
- Seasonal lessees are responsible for the upkeep of their rented site including mowing their lot. A $25.00 charge will
be made if Crazy Horse employees must mow your lot.
- No parking on roads. Two vehicles per site only, and any additional vehicles must be parked at the lodge.
- No permanent construction is allowed on your site as IL law provided that permanent structures become property of
the campground owners.
- Storage sheds are allowed with prior approval. One shed per site that does not exceed 8’ x 10’. See camp
management for details.
- Structures such as decks, sheds, and other building projects built over utility right of way are a violation of the lease. If
park management must move such structures, it will be at the camper’s expense with no liability held to Crazy Horse Campground, LLC.
- Vehicles may not be left in the parking lot over the winter season.
- Monthly pay plans require each month’s payment no later than the last day of the month. Late payments are subject to
a late fee.
